Nas has proven to be one of the most prolific and gifted MCs of all time and continues to drop quality material well into middle age. His latest album “Magic” is testament to that. I saw a post on a popular message board that the producer of the album, Hit Boy, was looking for djs and producers to mix a Biggie verse to one of the beats on the album. We all know this is right up my alley. I stopped what I was doing and immediately got to work. In no time flat I knocked out this little remix here. I put together some quick graphics, rendered down a video and uploaded it to YouTube. I don’t use twitter anymore but I got on it and made a post and mentioned Hit Boy in it. He saw it and even retweeted it himself. Just another day at the office. 😎
