When it comes to social media I guess you could say I am pretty anti-social. I’m not the selfie type and posting everything I do throughout the day for everybody to know all my business isn’t really how I roll. Being that I am still in the entertainment industry to an extent, having a social media presence is essential even if it can at times be like a chore. I could be in the middle of something amazing in a far off part of the world and taking a pic to post on Instagram simply does not come to mind 99% of the time. That’s just me I guess. I think I have about 10 instagram posts. I’m not on facebook that much and if I didn’t setup everything I do there to be tweeted as well I would hardly ever even go on twitter. The strange part of it is that although my social media and internet numbers are relatively low my “real world” numbers are pretty impressive. Just last weekend at 1 party I performed in front of more than 4,000 people. If you added all my Facebook, Instagram & Twitter friends and followers the number may not even be that high.
Nowadays social media numbers can even translate into dollars. In many ways Facebook likes are a comfort to a fool but they can also equal revenue when building a brand. Zuckerberg and dem know what they are doing with that promote button. 😉 Nowadays you gotta get your numbers up so make sure you add your boy. I’ll try to be more active on these joints in the future when I’m not doing things in the “real world”. #redpill
